Red Sea Berlin skimmer?
Has anyone used this skimmer, or had any experience with it at all? I'm not familiar with this style, and was looking for help. How well does it skim? Is it loud? Is it really worth putting on your tank? I'm trading for it, so I don't really know more specs. Any thoughts?

I used to run one, to get any decent skimate out of it I used a luguna 7 pump which is 2-3 times the rating they give.
I haven't used the turbo model, it might work better 'out of the box'. But IMO a more modern skimmer (like a needlewheel) would cost around the same, work better, and be easier to setup. |

I have one and I hate it. It pulls out almost no skimate and is a piece of junk. Buy an octopus, it is about the same price and works much better.
