ro/di question
I am looking at a Compact 5 stage ro/di filter. It offers one of three connections: supply valve, hose adaptor, faucet adaptor. How do they work? I have a 5g and hope to have a 29g.

Also, It comes with an auto shut off valve. Is that the valve that keep a retaining bucket from overflowing? Here are the specs for the unit..

I would get the typhoon instead of the compact reef. The typhoon has a full sized vertical DI stage instead of the horizontal DI (works better), and is not much more $. They typhoon has the autoshutoff as well as a float valve. Install the float valve in a 5 gallon bucket and it will keep the bucket from overflowing and the autoshutoff valve will shut off the water to the RO/DI.
