lighting help on 24g
IM upgrading to Metal Halide within a week or two from my 64w PCs, and I have several questions...
1. Should i go with the Current Sunpod or the Hamilton Reefstar? I've heard that Hamilton is better quality, and that i can move that fixture to another tank in time, unlike a 20" sunpod. Anyone have experience with these? 2. Both these fixtures come in 150 and 250 watt for a little extra. my question is in a 24g, is there going to be a difference between these two? Is there anything i can keep with a 250 and not with a 150? thank, Dylan |

I'd prolly go with the 250 and make it higher from the tank....i wouldnt put it that close to the tank w/that many watts. That way when you upgrade you'll less likely need a new light. And i'd go w/hamilton. I've heard nothing but good about them. Everything i've heard about em' says they're really durable.

Take a look at the Coralife aquapro lite MH's too. They're good lights. I chose them over the Sunpod's.
