Question Frozen Brine shrimp good bad or ugly

I've had people tell me that frozen brine shrimp is basically worthless for your fish? no nutritional value if so what is good to feed normal reef fish clowns, tangs, etc

i use mysis shrimp, cyclopeeze, nori and some garlic coates formula 1 pellets. and yes brine shrimp are worthless unless they are just hatched and still have the yolk sack on them.

Nutritionally, high-quality brine shrimp are fine. I wouldn't use them as the only food item, though. Variety is good. I make my own fish food using ideas from this thread:

There are a number of nutritional analyses of brine shrimp online, if anyone wants to do some reading.

I use some fortified frozen brine but it is only in addition to other food. Part of a rotation.

Though I feed a variety of food, brine shrimp is definitely included in the mixture. I know people that have kept fish for years on this alone; not that I would do this.

I soak it in some Vita Chem to load it with some vitamins; fish love brine shrimp.

brine shrimp is like a treat for fish, although good once in a while not good for the only food.

would you want your kids to only eat candy bars for food? lol
