Question about the pump for my Berlin skimmer
Hey guys...
I just received my pump the for the used Berlin I bought and I just wanted to confirm something. Normally the Berlin has the venturi cone at the base of the water inlet with a hose to draw air. With the pump I just bought.....it is the Red Sea impeller pump....you connect the hose to the front of the water intake of the pump and not the connection on the venturi. With this setup and pump I am supposed to remove the venturi cone from the base of the skimmer itself aren't I? Thanks for any info. Jim |

Ok....so I got ahold of Red Sea and they confirmed that the venturi cone comes out and the venturi barb on the water inlet gets plugged.
