Internal overflow and filtration (or) How do i Plumb this thing?
Do you have a tank that looks like this
![]() or have plumbed somthing that looks like this ![]() I am currently running the black pipe as the drain to a sump. The boxes on the ends i have left empty i know that this is probably not the way to run it but i cant figure out how it is suposed to be. The overflow box is internal and seems to fill from the bottom I know thats crazy when it overflows from the top but there is a baffle that forces the water to flow in then down and the boxes on the ends fill from the bottom up they also drain that way. the box with the pipe doesnt fill but it will drain the two boxes on the sides if the boxes on the side empty then i lose suction on the pipe. I have tried putting some filter floss in the boxes just to see if they catch any debri the floss came out clean. Any ideas as to what the boxes on the ends are for and how this should really be plumbed? |
