Circulation
I have a 55 gallon soon to be reef aquarium. I currently have 6 fish, tons of snails and crabs, a shrimp, and one anemonie. I just bought a hydor koralia #4 and I believe that it is way too big. Everything is whipping around like crazy. I put the pump as far as possible from the anemonie and it gets just a slight wave action, but it burried itself deaper into the rocks. Obviously I can't feed the fish with it plugged in, but I have to feed by timer because I work 24 to 48 hours at a time. Do I need to set the pump on a timer so that it is not circulating during feeding time, or is it just too much pump period? Thanks.

Alot of people set two on a timer for 12 on and 12 off, But I have the same pumps and I just buried one behind the rocks and the other at the top to keep the water stired up, if that helps.
