I have the aqua C remora hang on protein shimmer with mag 3 which produces a ton of microbubbles in my tank. I also got the pre skimmer box that came with a foam pad I suppose which is to stop the micro bubbles but does nothing. My question to you is how do I stop these bubbles.

Well, if the skimmer is new then it will require some weeks to kick-in and ajust. Good Luck!.

Agreed...It took mine about two weeks to finally clear up.

I had it for about 2 months now and still bubbles. Is there any type of sponge or something I can use in the skimmer box to absorb the bubbles

hey- send an email to them and they will ship you some fiberglass screen to put over the out flow spout free of charge. i had the same issue too. i had a ton of micro bubbles too with a remora C. but there are fixes to the microbubbles. the pre-skimmer you bought isnt to stop microbubbles, its to lengthen the life of your pump (yours is the mag 3). support@proteinskimmer.com is their address. they are real nice and easy to deal with. and quick too.
