id white spots on tank
over the last few days ive noticed small white spots on my aq glass about the size of a grain of salt with small hairs. all fish are fine but these things are slowly multipling.

If they are hard and spiral then they are probably Spirobids a type of tube worm. Harmless but they usually go away with time.

could be copepods and if so they are good to have!

hopefully they are copepods just picked up a red scooter blenny. i should have read a little more on this fish. now i'm tring to figure out a food source any ideas

You can buy tigerpods but you'll need a lot to keep a scooter full.

Hi Doc,
One thing about having a zillion of these little critters is they will tend to use up calcium to form those tiny tubes. Keep an eye on your Ca levels in your tank while they are numerous.
