So im getting ready to start my first reef tank and im wonder whats a good reliable filter. I have a 35 gallon hexagon tank.

For a 35 gallon tank, a Simple skimmer would work such as the coralife 65 HOB. Or just a good amount of liverock, a HOB fuge, and weekly water changes would work as well. I myself have a 37 gallon tank and use a DIY skimmer and a 10 gallon fuge and do a 10% water change each week.
