pH too high?
My pH meter says my pH is at 8.7. I havnt done anything to the tank so i dont know why its climbing? It might be my pH meter. I hav managed to get my salinity to 1.0255 from 1.028. If i do a small water change to drop my salinity a lil mor will it drop my pH. If so should i wait till my tank is completley cycled??

Well, the first step is to doublecheck the meter. Bad readings are very common. When and how was the meter last calibrated? Meters are prone to electrical interference, so I would measure a cup of water well away from the tank, too.
If the pH is that high, some additive might have pushed up pH, or photosynthesis might be doing that. This article discusses the issue: http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-03/rhf/index.htm
