Talking O Boy, NEW TOYS!!!!!

New toys for my 75 Oceanic reef.
AquaC EV180 w/ MagDrive (Pondmaster) 9.5.
The pondmaster was $30 cheaper go figure.
I got these at 30% off!!!! $237 for the skimmer and $77 for the pump!!!

Looks very good. Good call on the mag 9.5 rather than the mag 7 those skimmers perform much better with bigger pumps.

I have that skimmer. You won't be dissappointed. I am currently running a iwaki 30RLT with mine.

Should I gate the Mag 9.5 Input?
Should I update the injector to 1" from the stock 3/4"

I'd upgrade to the bigger injector.

Well, it doesnt fit in the sump!!! Just ordered a wider sump (Berlin Sumps BS-1 from Marinedepot), not to wild about the exterior setup's flooding potential.

I have the EV-120 and custom built my sump so it would fit in it. My stand was tight inside so my sump needed to be pretty exact. I really like the skimmer, works great.
