How do I Dip a Frag????

I need to do a dip for my new frag of Zoos that aren't opening. Maybe a freshwater dip?

Please someone let me know.

I don't believe freshwater dips are generally used for corals. I dip my new corals with Tech D, but it's not safe for some soft corals. Unless you're trying to get rid of some specific parasite, I don't think a dip of any kind is going to do you much good. It's more likely you need to address another issue, such as water quality.

Everything else in my tank is flourishing except for my new frag of Zoo's. It looks like they are disappearing! I just did a water change with no luck!

I can't just sit here and let them die. Any advice would be appreciated.

What is Tech D?

How long do I "dip" for???

BTW., the Bristleworm is definitely NOT leaving it alone. Can they hurt the Zoa's???

Generally bristleworms are not harmful to a reef tank. They consume detritus and are sandstirrers. I would not worry about them. If you are concerned, you can remove them or pull them off of the frag and put them in a different part of your tank.

Don't wanna sound mean, but can I kill them if necessary with a freshwater dip while they're on the Frag?
