125 Glass with no base rim

I have a 125, suspect Oceanic as it is 1/2 glass with an 18" glass centerbrace. However it is missing its base ring that I knew was once there as there is the silicone that once sealed it to the glass remains.

I've heard of acrylic tanks being placed upon foam. Is it possible to place the 125's glass bottom on foam instead of building a new base rim for it out of wood?

Any help would be appreciated.

Order a rim base or whole new tank?

LFS's can usually get you a new trim piece for your tank. Try asking if they can order a new piece of trim for you to silicone back onto the bottom. I'd be concerned about trying to fill that thing up and the bottom seals pulling apart from the pressure.
