Octopus HOT?

I've read much of the pros vs cons of the remora, typhoon, etc... still cannot decide. I have a 30gallon oceanic FOWLR, don't want to run a sump. I believe b/c my tank is quite small that any of those mentioned would be just fine, but I also came across the octopus HOT and it looks quite similar to the remora for less $$. Anyone have any info on it? Would I be okay with a used remora instead? Thanks!

I use one on my 90 gallon. It's probably under-rated for my tank, but it works quite well. I have 7 fish with no additional filtration and run it dry. They are built almost just like a CPR Backpack, but made from quality acrylic and the needlewheel pump is similar to a Sedra. You should be able to pick them up for around $100.
