I bet it would love some rocks with cave-like shapes and crevices for it to hide in. Tonga branch rock is the best because it has nice holes and hiding spots inside it. Thats where mine goes at night.

doesnt seem to uncommon...my clown loach in my freshwater tank sleeps the same way...makes me think he is dead all the time

That's a cute pic. Mine does something similar in a small rock crevass. They sure have a lot of personality.
