No sump or canister on my tank... where can I put chemipure bag?

I have a Remora Pro Skimmer with an overflow box, no sump, no canister filter. I want a cheaper way to get my water crystal clear, just looks like tiny little particulate matter in the water moving around- almost like tiny tiny grains of sand. I was told Chemipure can clean this up. Where can I put one of those bags in my tank to clean up the water? Was thinking about putting it on top of my MAG 3 pump in my overflow box for the skimmer, would this work?

Is the Elite version that much better? How long does each bag last? I have a 72 gallon tank, mostly soft corals, 1 crocia clam, yellow tang, lawn mower blenny, diamond goby, 2 clowns, sea hare and a hand full of crabs. Want to make sure it would not hurt any of my buddies

You can put it on top of your pump as long as there's good water flow...and there should be.

Elite is a better choice then standard Chemipure since it has some phosphate removal properties like ferric oxide to help keep phosphates lower...a nice benefit.

You need 2 units for your tank and they should be change every 2 to 3 months.

The key with this product is that it needs water flow or will it sit in a very passive mode and benefits are low.

A better choice for crystal clear water is the use of a UV filter.

Your water will sparkle!

I use both and it looks like my fish float in the air!

One last comment; what you're describing may be a water born algae which a UV filter will eradicate quickly.

I have a UV sterilizer, just need a new transformer... 25W unit from Aqua Sterilizer. What size pump would you recommend for that power sterilizer?

Very low, you only want the medium to "dance" on the top surface so with a tank your size I'd say with confidence that a small 185ghp pump would be about perfect!

So a Rio 1100 or 1400 would do fine?, pump in the tank, UV under the tank, pumping pack up into the tank. Sound right?
