quick intro
New to hobby and new to this forum: Hi.
I aquired an established and customized tank (57gallon reef tank) when I bought my home a month ago and have to learn very quickly about the basics and upkeep for my new critters. I can tell you that I have spent many hours reading the posts, opinions and rebuttles with much note taking etc. along the way--what a fantastic way to learn and compare to what is in the published literature. Well, I want to stay in the realm of salt, so I am prepared to learn and shell out some extra $$ to make the experience fun for me and safe for my living ecosystem . . . thank you in advance for being knowledgeable and having a place for me to look for those "after hours freak-out" moments when something doesn't look right, or the equipment makes a weird noise, or the sound of dripping water is heard making its way onto my hardwood floors . . . See ya here often, CJ |
