tank equipment questions
I have a 90g display and a 30g sump what equipment do others use with this set up
right now I have a G3 with a sedra 9000 pump a large section for gravel and rock with 3 different alge growing in it I test for all my chems ph is getting unstable thinking of calc reactor are there other pcs of equipment like co2 reactor or others would appreciate all the help I can get thanks Manny

It all depends on what kind of things you want to keep (fish, corals - what kind of corals, etc).

I have in my tank after 2 years
2 PJ's 2 blue Chromis 1 Mandrin Dragonnet 1 Engineer Goby 2 Percola Clowns and one I never remember the name 2 torches 4 different colors of mushrooms with about 4-6 pcs ea one has about 20 1 kenya tree 1 ricordia large about to split 1 pink tip looks like a hammer but not can't remember the name 1 pink flower with 50 buds that popout in the light not a zoo 1 sally lightfoot 1 emerald crab 40 snales about 40 mixed crabs Mex Red leg Scarlet, Blue leg and White legs 1 nieon blue crab

I assume you have a skimmer? I don't have anything else special on my 90g.

With your current inhabitants there is no reason to add a calcium reactor.
When you say your ph is unstable what do you mean by this? If you didnt know the ph of your aquarium will typically be lower in the morning when the lights first come on and higher later in the photoperiod. This is completely normal.

thanks for the comments I have a g3 with a sedra 9000 pump it is very good I was aware of the ph variance from day to night but thanks for reafirming that
when I said my ph was un stable I ment it has been dropping as of tonight it has come up to 8.3 and is holding will know in a fiew days thanks for the help Manny
