question about brine shrimp hatching

I recently bought a hatchery for brine shrimp but I have three questions .

1- after the eggs hatch should i turn the air pump off or leave it on?

2- do I need light ?

3- do i need to give any kind of food to the newly hatched brine shrimps ?

Personally I just use a 2ltr bottle and follow the instructions on the brine shrimp thing. I stick airline tubing to the bottom of the bottle, let it sit in a lit room for 24 hours, then after that you can see the shells floating on the top. I siphon those off, than drain the shrimp into a coffee filter. After that I swoosh the filter into my tank. I only use them the first day, else they lose their nutritional value.
