Az-no3

I've read about people using this product to reduce their nitrate. Most people seem to use it to get rid of the problem nitrate, does anyone out there use AZ-NO3 on a regular basis to KEEP nitrate at 0, or do most users just use it to reduce the nitrate from high amounts?
