wave makers - koralia 3

I am setting up my tank and have the reefkeeper2 and ordered two koralia 3 pumps for flow, will they work with the wavemaker? and if so how long should I cycle them. I am hearing some say that they do not do good with wavemakers.

Yeah, they are not that good with wave maker. I have 4 on my tank and the only problem is that when they kick on, the prop sometimes get's pushed forward stricking the housing and making noice. They do go back in place in about a sec.

If you don't keep them clean, they will be stuck in the reverse mode. I wouldn't put them on a wave maker.
