Dr. Foster & Smith has one with a skimmer.

consider placing a power head or hydor close to the surface so you have turbulance in that area

I use that one on my 20 gallon frogfish reef. Works great!

I have a powerhead pointed at the surface, in my sumpless system. Works a treat, just make sure it creates plenty of surface movement.

It is also good to keep the surface area moving so you don't get a "dead" area at the surface and the air. Some gas exchange occurs there and allowing co2 to build up in the tank will lower your pH. This area becomes very important if you don't have a sump or skimmer where most of the gas exhange occurs.

I bought that same exact surface skimmer from Drs. Foster and Smith.

It stopped working after about 2 weeks. They were great when I called them. A replacement is on it's way.
