light acclimation
for those of you that have frag tanks, how do you light acclimate your new corals in you established setup, especially if the tank is not deep?

Start by placing the corals at the bottom, maybe under a ledge so they do not get direct light and slowly move them to direct light and then raise them to their final destination.

Or place the coral in its intended location then either use layers of nylon screen to diminish the light intensity or raise the bulbs several inches higher than normal. Then slowly lower them, over time, to the normal position.

only asking becuse my frag tank is 17" deep, with 2 shelves of eggcratre. on at the bottom, and one about 6" abov that. and the t-5's are mounted on legs over the tank. so i guess the nylon screening would be the best option
