Wave maker powerhead choices?
What powerheads besides maxi jets can be used on wave makers? I was looking into koralias, and tunze nano stream. I would like some info if they are possible to mod to work with wave makers. If not please recommend me a powerhead that would work on wave makers. I would like powerheads that can work with controllers and something like the red sea wave maker.

Just about any powerhead will work to an extent on a wavemaker. For the Koralias and Tunze Nanos, you just want to make sure that the cycle on/off time is long (at least 15 minutes on/15 minutes off). Really, there is no need for faster cycle time. It is usually just a waste of energy cycling pumps quickly on and off unless you are trying to achieve a resonance wave (which requires control within tenths of a second - something that most wavemakers won't provide anyway).

15mins sounds good, will these pumps have problems starting in the right direction?
