Breaking Apart Rocks

I have a couple big rocks that I want to break apart. How do people usually do this. One is a 35 pound rock that is thick.

I thought for my monster rock a sledge hammer would be quickest and best.

The first rock was easy, but I started breaking a sweat on the big one. This is a project that I should of done outside. Now I have millions of years of rock all over my basement. Cool seeing whats inside of the rock though.

I use a chisel or wedge and a heavy mallet---they are not that soft--as you know.
It will break fine w/ the right tools--have you seen some of those huge worms inside?
