dieying fish

A very small question. My small fish (regal tang) have protruding eye (only one) what is the disease called. Every fish I buy the last for only one or two days exactly same thing happened to my four-band damsel. But surprisingly the previous tank mates like two maroon clowns and one damsel is surviving not even a hint of problem to them.
Please just tell me what is the disease called.
I don’t have water test kits so cant tell you about water parameters.

It has popeye. This in itself is not a disease but is caused by bacterial infections or injury. Its most likely bacterial. You really need some test kits to check your parameters.
For now do a series of water changes. Try 15% at a time.

Sorry, I don't use MSN. Feel free to PM me through reefcentral.
You can order test kits through www.reefdepot.sg They are a fantastic company in the asian area that ship worldwide. Nelson there is very helpful.
As for the pop eye. It should go down if you get the parameters right and the fish keep eating.

yes it is probably a bacterial infection, regal tangs are very delicate fishes a very small change in your parameters and they will suffer. the tang could have started with cloudy eyes and you have not noticed which then has become into pop eye.
pop eye normally comes with vitamin A defficiency or injury.
try to give them some vit A supplements and see how it goes.
