2 closed loops vs 1 closed loop?

I was planning on having 2 closed loops on my 120g, but after having some problems with pumps I am reconsidering. Tank is drilled and plumbed with 2 under sand manifolds each with 3 locline outputs.

Would I be better off getting 1 large pump to supply both manifolds or sticking with original plan of having 2 pumps alternating throughout the day.

Thanks

I would definately go with only one.

What kind of pump did you have in mind?

I have to ocean runner 6500, but I was thinking about returning them and getting 1 Refflo Dart.
I was thinking 2 would be better, but 1 would cut my chances of having a leak in half.

Why do you say definetly 1.

Thanks

I'm running one reefflo dart on my 180g and the movement is very strong, so strong that the sand doesn't stay there in front of the tank. I'm running it over three reefrats sequence.
