sand sifting clarkie
I have a Clarkie that insists on removing all the substrate around its anenome and rock. would using a small amount of large beach stone or reef rock rubble there deter him from doing that.

Probably not, clowns are famous for stirring up the sand bed. My maroon does it all the time, if you block one spot they clean someplace else.

thanks Debi--that's what I thought---at least the bare tank bottom is getting covered with corraline--so that will help with the absence of sand/bacteria.
