Pond foams====$9-$15 a can 24-48 hour cure DONE! You can cover it with sand if you want to (YOU DONT HAVE TO) though but thats added cost again Current Tank Info: 75 gal under way |

Do you mean pairing up the same type of Clowns or mixing two different types of Clowns? The easiest to pair up are False and True Perculas and Saddlebacks seems to be on the less aggressive side.
If you want to mix two different types of Clowns, its not really recommended as there can be problems with any type. Also depends on the individual. Maroons and Tomato Clowns are the most aggressive and can/will beat up on other fish as well. Maroons like to re-aquascape your tank by picking up corals and moving them to where they want them. Most Maroons and Tomatos will bite the hand that feeds them as well. ![]() |

any two different species can fight. also, additional fish of the same species added to an established group usually aren't welcomed (accept maybe if they are very small.).

If you want another Clown, buy a really small True Percula to pair with the one you have. When there is only one Clown in a tank, it turns Female. When Clowns are small, they are sexless. As it grows, it will turn Male as there is already a Female in the tank. If that Female dies for any reason, your Male will turn Female.
Just be warned that pairing Clowns is never a guarantee, although you have the best shot in pairing either of the Percula clowns. The Female might beat on the smaller one for a few just to assert her dominance. When the smaller clown starts doing his shake, almost looks like they are in convulsions, he is telling her she is the boss and all will be fine. If she continually beats on him, you have to pull him out and try another one. |
