Euro reef Rs100 vs Octopus Skimmer NW-200?

Hey guys. Im torn between these 2 skimmers and cannot decide on which one for my 90 gallon mixed reef. The Octopus is much cheaper and I would really love to go with this but Euro reef is a trusted and popular brand. ANy advice? Does anyone have experience with both that has done a comparison?

As is they both perform about the same. Mesh modded the NW 200 will kick some serious butt and it has a much larger body. The RS100's body is too small to be very effective once modded.

The mesh modded RO NW200 would be my suggestion also.

Excuse my ignorance, but what pump does the Nw200 come with? Is it comparable to the Sedra 5000 and does an adequate job?

The NW200 comes with an Octopus Turbine 3000 pumps. Also referred to as the OTP-3000. It is a 65 watt pump.

The ER RS100 comes with the sedra 3500 I believe, so it is a smaller pump and draws 28 watts. I have the RS100 and have been happy with it so far. It's well built and the customer service is fine. I've done the recirc mod and gateway mod and frankly, I wish I had just left it stock. Smaller footprint and easier to disassemble for cleaning.

Ok. Well it is proven that the Nw200 is a better performer than the Rs100. How about the NW200 vs ER Rs 135?

Ok. haha. Wrong choice of words. In your honest opinion, is the Nw 200 a better performer? How about NW200 vs Euro Reef Rs135? Which is the better skimmer? Which one has the better pump?

You're giving advice based on experience? I'm suitably impressed. I hope I didn't seem too bitter before, it was a rough day.
