put clowns in display yesterday?

I put my clowns in my display yesterday and is it normal for them to be swimming right again the glass? It seems like they are trying to get out or something. Also they practically swim on top of each other is this also normal. I didn't do much observation when they were in QT besides making sure that they ate and were swimming fine which they were.

clowns are friendly and have tons of personality. they like swimming against the glass and are one of the few fish that won't go hiding in the rockwork when u walk up to the tank.
as for swimming together, mine do that too. i bought them out of the same tank at the LFS..maybe it's just what they do. they'll establish dominance and probabaly swim like that for as long as you have them

Yeah mine came out of the same tank at the LFS also I was told that they were tank bred. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. But they do have a great personality and are fun to watch

I don't think your clowns are exhibiting any unusual behaviors. Mine tend to stay within inches of each other. Whenever someone walks into the room, they immediately swim to the glass begging for food.

Lol. Be careful with overfeeding. Clowns can be beggers as you can see.

Mine go to opposite ends of the tank at night and swim on top of each other during the day. They like to go in front of the return flow and it almost looks like they are using it like a treadmill. Very funny to watch.

What you are describing is exactly what happened when I got my pair. Eventually they got used to the tank and now swim everywhere. Mine used to swim together all the time, now the smaller one likes to hide behind the rocks. He comes rushing right out if there is food or someone is near the tank.
