Chiller?

Whats the best way to hookup a in line chiller to a closed loop?

I have not had any experince with a chiller.I did not know if I should plumb it in on the intake or the output line.I know it will effect the head pressure on the output.

I'm not sure if this will really help, but is there a maximum flow through rate on the chiller that you can work with? If your closed loop pump is very strong, or at least too strong for the chiller, then the water won't be in the chiller long enough to lower it's temp. This would probably keep your chiller on longer then it needs to be. Hope that helps.

The min.is 300 and the max is 700.I'm pushing about 600 or so on the closed loop.I just don't want to lose anymore than I have to.

You need to be sure to not restrict the input of your pump. I personally would take the hit on the head pressure and place the chiller between the output of the pump.
Do you have a sump? What if you throw a submersible pump in your sump? You can simply put the return line back in the sump (basically create a closed loop in the sump?
