Comments on Stocking List

Been a long time coming but I have my 180 up and running. 5" sand bed, Fiji rock, sump, refugium. It will be a reef setup and have a number of inverts, mostly snails, shrimp, ...

I still have a couple weeks before I have the water quality where I want it. I plan to get to good quality and then let it run for 4 weeks.

But, I do have two quarantine tanks ready and I have put together a stocking list. I would appreciate any comments/critiques.

Introduction order is from top (YWG) to bottom. The number is the number I was planning to stock.

Yellow Watchman Goby 1
Pajama Cardinal 3
Jawfish, Yellowhead 1
Firefish 1
Twinspot Goby 1
Starry Blenny 1
McCosker's Flasher Wrasse, Male 1
Spotted Mandarin 1
Blue/Green Reef Chromis 4
Kole tang 1
Bartlett's Anthias 2
Sailfin Tang 1
Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish 1

I like the list, but you have an awful lot that I'd personally rather keep in pairs, such as the YWG, Firefish, Jawfish, clownfish. Even the Pj's, 3 is nice, but the odd man out may get picked on if you wind up with a male/female pair.

But then again, It's a decent sized tank And with all those little peaceful fish, I'd go for a less aggressive clown speceis, but all this is just personal preferences, the introducation order looks okay. Can't wait to see some pics of this (hint, hint)

I'd personally not put almost 20 fish in the tank... even a 180. It's going to be way to busy. These fish aren't used to being with this many different neighbors. It's going to be stressful. Stress causes illness and illness is a pain to treat in such a large tank.

I'd personally go with much larger species, but fewer fish.
