well its nothing special. and it doesnt look fancy. buut it skimms the surface nd only cost me about Â£5 to make just used thing acrylic sheet and aquarium silicon, and a small 40lph pump and a bit of filter foam.

Nicely Done! looks a little "Quick & Dirty" but VERY functional!

yeh it is rather messily done lol. now i know it works im going to make another one neatly. making it a bit narrower nd about 1" deeper so i cn have 2 layers of foam , and they need to be a bit lower from the water entry slits. as when the pump is off. some of the dirt on the foam floats back into the tank

oh and the nasty yellow tape has gone. i forgot to take it off ( was using it to secure the wire when i glued it in place )

but its ok for a 1st attempt.
