made my surface skimmer :)
well its nothing special. and it doesnt look fancy. buut it skimms the surface nd only cost me about £5 to make just used thing acrylic sheet and aquarium silicon, and a small 40lph pump and a bit of filter foam.

yeh it is rather messily done lol. now i know it works im going to make another one neatly. making it a bit narrower nd about 1" deeper so i cn have 2 layers of foam , and they need to be a bit lower from the water entry slits. as when the pump is off. some of the dirt on the foam floats back into the tank
