tunze questions
ive gotten by with by with big rios shooting towards each ohther for 6 years now, but due to growth i need tunze...so
a couple questions for all the tunze owners b4 i blow the 400 beans on one today it will be a tunze 6101 on a single controller in a 58 rr (all sps) -will i be able to ramp water flow from low rpms to high rpms in ~ 8 sec increments repetedly ?? -if i got another down the road could i have the left side ramp up to full rpm then down and instantly have the right one do the same following like ocean currents (left- right)???? -i know these are the best built pumps on the market but do i need to take them out an soak them in vinegar once a month or so like i do my rio's ?? - am i just better off getting their wave box and dremel-ing down the overflow to lower water level??? ---------------------------- thanx |

#1 yes
#2 yes with a separate singlecontroller (7091) for each stream OR by using one multicontroller (7095) on both streams. If you use a branch adapter for both streams using only (1) 7091, both streams will ramp up/down at the same time. #3. Yes, I clean my streams once a month. If you neglect this part, the alarm will eventually go off (usually 3am on a Monday morning) #4. No, the wavebox is supposed to be used in conjunction with Tunze Streams
