HOB refugium cpr vs. sapphire

im looking to get a hob refugium for my 20gL. i have been looking at both the cpr and the sapphire aquatics w/ the protein skimmer. Now idc if you dont like hob refugiums, i am going to use one...i do not have the space for a sump. So please do not tell me how i should put a refugium in the sump i dont, and wont, have. I am looking for anyone who has used either of these two and can tell me the quality, ease of setup, how well the protein skimmer works, etc. TIA

I bought the CPR and never hooked it up because it wouldn't fit behind my tank / wall. But, having used both sapphire and CPR skimmers, I'd imagine the CPR will do a better job.

use the CPR as they came out with it first saphire is just a knock off of the CPR unit. CS CPR has been around for 15 years and has good CS if you have a problem

I have and have used the small and medium CPR HOB refugiums. They work great. I have since gone to a stand alone refugium (see my gallery) which also enables me to keep critters etc that may not be able to go to the "show". I always used Miracle Mud in my refugiums.
