What are you trying to cool with it, as far as lighting goes.. im assuming in a canopy setup? I use something similar, but I use 2 140mm fans, one blows in and one blows out

For that particular fan, the 12v DC/AC adapter will work fine. But not all computer fans run on 12v. I've seen 6v and others, too.

Rip apart an old pc, and take out the power supply. You can buy all of the pc fans you want.

Yeah it'd be for a canpoy.
So two of those fans will run on one of those plugs?

My dad said lastnight his work was getting all new comps and throwing out the old ones so maybe i could grab a power supply out of one?

It depends on how many milliamps the fan uses. If the power supply supplies 2x the fan's milliamps, then yes it can power two fans.
