Need your help with upgrading

I am about to start upgrading my show tank from 65 to 150, I need your help with three issues.
1 - Since the new tank would be in same spot, what is the best way of doing this, do I need to transfer all corals to a storage tank of some sort and let the new tank cycle for a few days or because I am not adding anything new accept sand, I can go ahead and put everything back in the tank as soon as is set up.
2 - I hate to loose all the nice live sand that I have in the tank for last 3 years, can I rinse it with clean salt water and reuse it?
3 _ I like to see some plans on Closed loop and how to do it.
Thanks
