Plumbing confusing

Plumbing should be easy, but I'm making it hard on myself. I'm in the process of getting things together for my overflow. The drain side is already taken care and I already have the correct fittings for the mag 9.5 what I need now is ...

I'm running 3/4" ID flexible tubing from the pump to the return line and I have a 3/4" ID bulkhead. The threaded bottom of the bulkhead is 1 3/8" from edge to edge of the thread. The bottom of the bulkhead is male.

I need to put a barbed fitting to connect to the 3/4" flexible tubing.

The top of the bulkhead fitting is slip and relatively easy to figure out, I'm just not sure what barbed fitting size I need.

Thanks for any help

Does Home Depot sell what I need or will I be better off going to marindepot/ drfoster.... thanks.

If it's flexible PVC you can just glue it in... If not, I would just take a piece of the tubing to HD and start field testing.

Find a local plumbing supply house, even if its wholesale when a guy walks in off the street they usually are nice enough to help you.

I had to go from glued to threaded first. And was able to find a barb with a threaded end at HD.

exactly what I just found on a site. Guy glued a the pipe inside the bulkhead fitting first. I was at Lowes and had all the parts in my hand and walked out cause that didn't even cross my mind.

My exact situation. My HD didn't carry slip to barb fittings.

I can then test fit the tank and sump and run it.....w00t
