best way to battle bubble algae???
I know that low nutrients are the best way to control bubble algae, but it is all over my live rock. Doesn't bother me much as far as the appearance goes, but it does encroach on some of my corals. Other than manually removing it, does anyone have some good ideas on getting rid of it. I tried emerald crabs...didn't touch it. Any other ideas out there????

if you can take some of the more infested areas out of the tank and scrub then rince well why not just do it. for the ones you cant take out i take the bulb off of the turkey baster shove about 4 feet of thick wall 1/2 inch hose into is as far as it will go to seal it up. turn off all circulation in the tank and then go after each bubble. if you need to break a few to get it up the baster then so be it most of the spores will hopefully be sucked up as you have no tank circulation going. it worked pretty god for me good luck
