I'm using the wave box in my 90gal and get about 1.5" wave.

Nothing bad to say about the wavebox other than is kinda big. I really like it and it works really well. Anything you want to know about it?

none at all. You got to have a clear shot across the tank.

I had it running for about 6 months and haven't done any maintenance.

Anyone have probs with wavebox causing interference with built in overflow water level? My overflow is located against the back glass of my tank, just left of center.

You may have to adjust the water level in the overflow some to avoid any splashing noise. I run one on a 6t tank with dual overflows. After some tweaking it's silent.

Dollar for dollar its hard to beat the whole tank water movement the wavebox gives in my tank. I do think other flow is needed to help get crud to the overflow.

sjj80, if your overflow teeth are only 1" long or less, this will seriously limit the room you will have for a wave. I hav 2 6100s, and I just sold my wavebox because of thos issue. The 6100s on a multicontroller are capable of some very chaotic flow, and even some small wave production. If you have the room between the top of your tank and your overflow box, the wavebox is an awesome addition. The location of your overflow should not be a problem

The wavebox side mounts suck really really bad. I paid 600$ CaD and for that price, it should have came with the magnetic mounts. If you buy it, please get the magnetic mounts. I have come home many times to see a big box bouncing around in the tank because the clips came off.

However, the wave it makes in my tank can reach 5" tall. It even moves rocks. But it scares me watching my stand rock millimeters back and forth. But its going strong for 1.4 years.

I had to replace a worn out impellar. They shipped me one free from jlaquatics under warranty.

I used a wave2k and then took it out in favor of a wavebox. The wave2k was noisier and required more maintenance. I like the water movement from the wavebox better as well.
