different tank for water change
So I have this idea. I will set up a 20 gallon tank with only liverock, live sand and some cheato and ofcourse with a light. I will use the water in this tank everytime I change the water in my display tank. so that the PH. Cal. Temp. so and so will be the same as my display tank. Does that make anysense to anyone. or don't i even think about it. any iput?

Doesnt make much sense. The LR, LS and cheato won't survive the process of filling with fresh water and mixing salt. Also, the water is not going to get any cleaner than right out of the bucket. This could only lead to dirtier water going into your tank.
