I was told by an electrician here on Reef Central that there are no such thing as 175 watt Hqi bulbs. He said that the particular bulb size in question was the same thing as a 150 hqi but had been labeled a 175 watt HQI by companys such as Odyssea. You see i have a Odyssea 2x 175 HQI fixture and i was wanting to mod it for 250's and we got into a"discussion" about how i just purchased 175 watt Hqi's but "they really weren't 175's they were 150's". It seems it has something to do with manufacturers watt ratings, i'm not exactly sure, maybe someone could elaborate a little better. But if i'm right a 175w should work with a 150w fixture. I hope this puts you on the right track.!

Oh, i don't blame you! I wouldn't take just anybody's word on it. I was just trying to give you a different avenue of approach to try but that may be why you're having such a difficult time finding that particular fixture.
