Closed loop questions

I am using a dart on a OM 4 way. Each return form the four way is 1 inch. Each branch has two outputs that are .75" with locline that T's and has two nozzles. So the pump is putting out two branches at a time for a total of 4 .75" locline that Y's into two lines for a total of 8 nozzles, does this restrict the flow at all for the dart? And is this a good plan for the closed loop returns?

I also have not decided what to use on the returns coming up out of the sand in the front of the tank, any ideas? I will post some pics later. I want to have a SPS dominated tank so i want my flow to be as good as i can get it.

Chris

any plumbing creates head pressure and head loss from friction.it sound like a good design, but i am not sure what yoiu mean with the returns coming out of the sand

This si a closed loop and the pump intake is submerged so that cuts down on the head loss from what i was told. But here are the pics.

This one you can see the pipe running out from the back glass and the 1 inch pipe is reduced to .75" at the last second with threaded fittings so i can put locline or something else.

This photo you can see the one branch from the OM unit i already put locline fittings. There is a return like this on the other side of the tank. Both aim from the top front of the tank to the back.

This one is just a shot of the completed closed loop plumbing.

Do you think the use of those .75" locline fittings is going to cause too much restriction? And are those nozzles going to concentrate the flow to a small area?

Chris
