![]() First of all, what type of reef are we talking about here? Softies? Mostly softies? Or sps/lps? The answer changes a bit depending on what type of corals you mostly have. If you have mostly a softy dominated tank, then i wouldnt suggest adding anything. The only reason to add something is if you're actually testing everything and know something is low (and since you didnt post any parameters, i'll assume you havent tested lol ![]() If its stoney corals though, and you've got lots of them, then you might find that you do need to dose something, but again, not without testing your water first. Next, what type of lighting do you have? Different lights give much different growth and color. On a 72 bowfront you're probably gonna need more than just pc's, specially if you're not growing just soties. If you do have pc's, what size? 65w bulbs or 96w bulbs?

Zoa's need iodide to survive. I am using Lugol's Solution and Reef Solution in my reef tanks. My zoa's love the Reef Solution, but it is expensive.

A word of caution, too much iodine is harmful to corals.
