Running 2 simmers

O Ill start by this. About 1 month ago I had to call in to CL and request they send a replacement for the one I had. What happened was that I had a small leak that developed alng one of the glued seems. So they sent me the replacement but after I had made the repair and it hasn't leaed since. I was wondering if I made a DIY collection cup for the second one, could I just run 2 of them. I have a pump I could use for the second. My parameters are as follows:

Amm. 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
Ph 8.3
Phos. 0
calc. 460

Or would it be pointless to even thin about it? Or should I just mae it and sell it to someone who relly cant afford a good one or doesnt have one at all.

Two skimmers are better than one.

What's a simmer?
The only downfall of running to skimmers is that you have to clean two skimmers. You could run both and see if one outperforms the other.
