40bdr VHO only?
I have an extra 40gal bdr sitting around that I have been playing with the idea of making it a softie tank. I also have a few VHO ballasts sitting around. I was woundering how much light is really needed in a 40gal bdr to keep all softies a few lps and sps? Bascily can it be dont with 3-4 VHO's? ANyone vho only?

I have seen some fabulous VHO only SPS tanks that had tremendous growth. Don't let anyone tell you that SPS won't thrive under VHO, its just not true.

^agreed people are down on VHO's right now but I got my best results under VHO lighting. T-5 is probably a better technology but VHO works pretty darn well too.
