Aquarium Paint

Hello all. Any suggestions on what paint to use for the back of your aquarium? I'm going to go with black..wasn't sure if I could use regular spray paint or not. Thanks.

Go to walmart and pick up a can or two of Krylon Fusion: Black
let it dry completely and should be perfectly safe for the back of your aquarium, as well as painting overflow boxes, pvc, ect. inside the tank.

I wouldn't use regular spray paint though, this and a couple others are the only ones I've heard are safe and Kyrlon is the only one I've ever used. But it's dirt cheap and works like a charm.

Perfect! I'm going to try my hand at this painting thing with my hospital tank. How exciting I get to go to Wal-Mart haha...everything is always cheap there

So I painted my tank this morning...it came out really nice. I cleaned it really well before painting...but I notice these rainbow colors of some sort on the inside glass...kind of like a film. I can't get it off...would it be safe to paint the inside glass as well? I'm using the Krylon Fusion.

To add to my last post...I cleaned the tank with water and white vinegar (as suggested by my LFS). If you guys suggest another way of cleaning a used tank, please share.
