New setup: new water, old water or both?
I'm doing a large water change in the 210g today, nitrates about 15 and don't even want to know what the Ca++ or PO4 is.
I'm also filling my new setup, zeroedge, with RO as I type. Many of the corals in the display are going to be transfered to the zeroedge. So....the question..... Should I use any of the old display water for the zeroedge to assist with acclimation of the corals or is it ok to transfer corals into brand new saltwater? Thanks

Where am I?

Usually when I move my tank I save someof the water just to help with the acclimation for the corals and fish. I think of it as a water change for the new tank.

i would use some of the water from the old setup, unless you had some major problems with the old setup and dont want to transfer it to the new tank
